Additional accident insurance Additional accident insurance may cover the following risks:

Death: a one-time-only death benefit will be paid.

Disability: the benefit will depend on the severity of disablement.

Temporary disability. In this case a one-time-only benefit will be paid for the injury suffered (e.g., joint dislocation, soft tissue damage, burns and frostbites, concussion of the brain or medulla and haematomas, traumatic damage of internal organs entailing surgery, etc.).

Bone fractures. The amount of a benefit will depend on the sort of a fractured or cracked bone and on the selected insured sum.

Hospital treatment. If an insured person is hospitalised as a result of a personal accident, he/she will receive a benefit for each day spent in hospital.

Temporary working incapacity. If an insured person is temporary rendered incapable of working due to a personal accident, he/she will receive a benefit for each day of working incapacity.

If the principal and additional coverage is taken out together, the coverage against expenses on cosmetic plastic surgery to treat severe cosmetic defects due to an injury caused by a personal accident will also be in place.

Premiums may range depending on the scope of coverage, insured sums and risks selected, occupation and nature of work of the insured.
